Regelmäßige Kontrolle des Blutzuckerspiegels bei Diabetes mellitus, Kontrolle der Herzfunktion und Morphologie. 
Die Kautabletten sind aromatisiert. Tabletten für Tiere unzugänglich aufbewahren, um eine versehentliche Aufnahme zu vermeiden.
